Knowledge and Attitude of Recent Dental Graduates towards Smart/Bioactive Dental Composites

Aims: The purpose of this study was to explore the knowledge and attitude dental interns vs newly graduated dentists (NGD) towards recently introduced smart/bioactive resin composites (SDCs).
 Study Design: Cross-sectional study.
 Place Duration Study: Restorative Dentistry Department, Faculty Dentistry, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from March 2018 June 2018.
 Methodology: An online questionnaire distributed among randomly chosen NGDs in multiple countries (n= 164). formulated using Google Forms. Statistical analysis results conducted percentages frequencies compared Chi-square test (P<0.05).
 Results: 59.15% all respondents expressed interest perusing restorative dentistry as a specialty. A statistically significant lower proportion reported good understanding materials (P=.022), hearing SDCs (P=.033), or ever (P=.006). 50% thinking that effectively regenerate hard tissue significantly (P=.016) than (70.5%). 97.6% 96.7% willingness attend training workshop and/or continuing education course about SDCs.
 Conclusion: Interns showed higher positive use. Knowledge effective use by could be improved more such offered workshops/courses.
